Unable to open saved files

Hey,
I work since today with NodeXL and saved some test-files (Win. 10, Office 365). Unfortunately, I'm not able to open the files because of Trust-Problems.

I open the files like that:
  1. Open by double-Click on the file. - Doesn't work.
  2. Open first 'NodeXL Excel Template', than Import - From NodeXL Workbook created on another Computer. - Doesn't work.
I followed the instructions at this site:
https://www.connectedaction.net/trust-issues-and-excel-how-to-open-other-peoples-nodexl-documents/
and made a "trusted folder" for these documents, but it doesn't work either.

Please help - Thank you.

Regards,
Patrick

Hello,

thank you for your interest in NodeXL!

As far as I can understand form the error message it says that "this process can not access the file because it is being used by another process". I suspect the file is being synchronized by OneDrive and it won't allow NodeXL to access it. Please try saving your files in another location and try to open them.

Regards,
Arber

Hey Arber,
it was actually the OneDrive-folder, yes. It's a pitty that it isn't working with OneDrive - but now i can open it.

Thanks very much,
Patrick
