Thanks for the interest in NodeXL!

Users of NodeXL were recently upgraded to NodeXL Pro.

NodeXL Pro requires a paid license fee.

If you would like to upgrade to NodeXL Pro, see: http://nodexlgraphgallery.org/Pages/Registration.aspx

If you would like to use the free NodeXL Basic application, please uninstall NodeXL Pro and download NodeXL Basic application from http://nodexl.codeplex.com.

NodeXL Basic can read and visualize network workbooks created with NodeXL Pro.

Some users have reported an issue with reverting to NodeXL Basic. If this condition occurs for you, please go to the following path:

C:\Users[user_profile]\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0

You should see two folders: one named Data and another folder with a strange name, that is where old NodeXL is stored. (In some cases, you may need to tell the Windows File Explorer to "Show hidden files"),

Please delete the folder with the strange name and try reinstalling NodeXL Basic.

We apologize for any issues you may have during this transition - we are working to remove all the bugs we are seeing people report.

Regards,

Marc

A follow-up: some users report that the do not see the AppData folder. That folder may be hidden.

If you do not see the folder, either tell Windows to show hidden files, OR directly navigate to that path directly by pasting the full name into the Windows File Explorer.
