Can you clarify the difference between Reciprocated Edge Ratio and Reciprocated Vertex Pair Ratio please?

Andy:

If you go to NodeXL, Analysis, Graph Metrics in the Excel ribbon and select an item in the list of "metrics to calculate," a window at the bottom of the Graph Metrics dialog box will tell you something about the item.

Here is the description for "Vertex reciprocated vertex pair ratio (directed graphs only)":

In a directed graph, this is the number of adjacent vertices that are connected to the vertex with edges in both directions divided by the number of adjacent vertices. In an undirected graph, this is undefined and is not calculated.

And here is description for "Edge reciprocation (directed graphs only)":

In a directed graph, an edge from vertex A to vertex B is reciprocated if the graph also has an edge from vertex B to vertex A. In an undirected graph, edge reciprocation is undefined and is not calculated.

A self-loop is never reciprocated.
