I want to import the network of friends of a YouTube user, however no matter what options I select in the import screen, I get an error stating the the informaiton is private. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my computer, or something else. I can't imagine NodeXL would build in this feature, if the data is private and unaccessable.

Here is a screen shot of the error message I'm getting.

Is there any way around it, or is this just something I'm going to have to live with? Also, I'm working with Version

It's not a problem with your computer or with NodeXL.  Back when we first introduced the YouTube user network, most user information was public.  Apparently, YouTube has tightened its privacy settings since then.  I do not know if all such information is now private, or if it varies from user to user.  If it turns out that the information is private for everyone, we may remove the feature from NodeXL.
