Import RSS

Hi.

I have reviewed the import options and I want to know if there is any way to import Feed RSS into NodeXL.

Greetings.

Jose:

I'm not sure what you mean by "Feed RSS," so you would have to explain what that is.  But in general, there are several ways to get arbitrary data into NodeXL:

1. If you can get an edge list into a plain Excel workbook via a delimited text file or some other means, then you can import the edge list into NodeXL via NodeXL, Data, Import, From Open Workbook.

2. If you can get the graph data into GraphML format (http://graphml.graphdrawing.org/primer/graphml-primer.html), then you can import the graph data into NodeXL using NodeXL, Data, Import, From GraphML File.

3. If you are a programmer, you can add a custom item to the NodeXL, Data, Import menu to import graph data from some external source.  See "For Programmers: About NodeXL Graph Data Providers" at http://nodexl.codeplex.com/discussions/71182?ProjectName=nodexl.

If you're talking about importing some arbitrary RSS feed into NodeXL, how would you form a network out of that?
