Importing adjacency matrix from Excel into NodeXL

Is it possible to import an adjacency matrix into NodeXL?  Here's an example:  http://yed.yworks.com/support/manual/import_excel.html#adjacencymatrix

I did see an older blog post from Marc Smith where he indicated this was possible.  See this link: http://www.connectedaction.net/2009/03/24/nodexl-v79-enters-the-matrix/.  However, when I attempted to import an adjacency matrix similar to the one seen in the yEd link, NodeXL was asking to find vertices only in columns, not rows.

Is it possible?

Yes, it's possible.  In the Excel ribbon, go to NodeXL, Data, Import, From Open Matrix Workbook.  To see the matrix format that NodeXL expects, click the "What a matrix workbook looks like" link in the Import from Open Matrix Workbook dialog box.
