Making a twitter network from your own user list?

Oct 17, 2011 at 8:04 PM

I am starting to surf in the great world of network maping using nodeXL an Issue crawler.

But with nodeXL I am still looking how find if a network exist between a random list of twitter users that I collected.

I mean, I have my own list of twitter users and I want to know if they form a network between them or not.

So far I have seen that only I can find a twitter network around one "seed" user.

Thanks in advance in case somebody know the answer and success!!

In the Excel Ribbon, go to NodeXL, Data, Import and select From Twitter List Network.

If you don't have a From Twitter List Network item on your Import menu, it's because you have an older version of NodeXL.  You can get the latest version at http://nodexl.codeplex.com/releases.

Thanks a lot Tony!!

Thank is enough to continue my research. However if somebody also know about a publication or tutorial where depicted a twitter network from random users list, I would really appreciate if s/he can share it with me.

Greetings
