nodexl does not appear in startmenu

description

Hey there, I have just installed nodexl on a surface 3 pro running Excel 2016 via Office 365. There seemed to be no problem during the installation. However, I cannot find nodexl anywhere. I will only find the installation file, thats it.

Any ideas?

Hello,

if you are on a Windows 10 machine, the search functionality won't find the NodeXL shortcut (still investigating why). To open NodeXL in Windows 10 please follow these steps:
  1. Open "Start" menu
  2. Go to "All Apps"
  3. Scroll to "N" either by clicking on a letter (i.e A) and selecting "N" or by using your mouse
  4. If NodeXL is installed correctly, you should see "NodeXL Excel Template" entry
  5. Click to open or Right click -> Pin to Start will pin NodeXL to the start menu so you can easily open it in the future
Regards,
Arber
