Unexpected error

Nov 6, 2016 at 8:45 AM
I keep getting this error when trying to upload to NodeXLGallery
This is for a relatively large search - APHA2016
Is this because of my machine (relatively new laptop with 8MB RAM) or something else?
Many thanks,

The graph represents a network of 4,213 Twitter users whose recent tweets contained "apha2016", or who were replied to or mentioned in those tweets, taken from a data set limited to a maximum of 9,000 tweets. The network was obtained from Twitter on Saturday, 05 November 2016 at 08:43 UTC.

The tweets in the network were tweeted over the 4-day, 8-hour, 43-minute period from Monday, 31 October 2016 at 23:41 UTC to Saturday, 05 November 2016 at 08:24 UTC. There is an edge for each "replies-to" relationship in a tweet, an edge for each "mentions" relationship in a tweet, and a self-loop edge for each tweet that is not a "replies-to" or "mentions".

The graph is directed.

The graph's vertices were grouped by cluster using the Clauset-Newman-Moore cluster algorithm.

The graph was laid out using the Harel-Koren Fast Multiscale layout algorithm.

Thank you for the interest in NodeXL!

The error you received:
[OutOfMemoryException]: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.
Reports that the data volume has exceeded available RAM.

Big networks can benefit from 16GB or even 32 GB of RAM (assuming a 64 bit OS and Office are installed).

Thanks Marc, I've upgraded to 16GB RAM (my max) and can process more things that I've been managing to date. I'll need to work out how to upgrade OS and Office (I have a 64 bit machine but it appears to be a 32 bit operating system). C'est la vie. G
