How to Graph each group separately?

Hi there,

How can I get a separate graph / image for each group here - so that there's more real estate for each?

Many thanks,
Ian

Hello!

Thank you for the interest in NodeXL.

When groups are present, the display of each group can be controlled from the VISIBILITY column of the Groups Worksheet.

In most cases it is necessary to reveal these columns via: NodeXL>Show/Hide>Workbook Columns>Visual Properties

If a Group VISIBILITY is set to Skip (or "0") and the Graph is refreshed, the group will not be displayed.

You can set all but one group to be set to a Skip Visibility. Changing which group gets the value "1" (for "Show") and refreshing the graph will allow you to devote all the space in the graph pane top a single sub-group.

You can also use the "NodeXL>Analysis>Sub-Group Images" feature to write images to the file system for the network that surrounds each vertex (to a configurable distance). (These images are "schematic" they do not display images or other vertex shapes. These images can also be inserted into the Vertices worksheet.

Regards,

Marc
