Merging datasets

I have extracted data sets in different files and now I want to merge or combine all the NodeXL files in one file. Could you please let me know how can I merge them.

Your help and advice will be appreciated.
Thank you very much.

Thank you for the interest in NodeXL.

Merging workbooks is tricky.

There are many sources of error.

NodeXL Edges and Vertices worksheets contain named ranges. Your data must be within these ranges when you add rows to these worksheets.

Your Vertices worksheets in multiple workbooks may contain redundant or conflicting data (ex: a User may have different numbers of followers at different points of observation). Selecting which elements will be used and ensuring that the entries in the Vertices worksheet are unique can be sources of error.

It might be better to export each of your data workbooks to GraphML. Then import these data sets in time order, making sure that the NodeXL>Data>Import>Import Options>Clear the NodeXL workbook before the data is imported is UNCHECKED.
