How to re-order groups in the graph

I have a graph that displays groups derived from a clustering algorithm. I want to be able to change the order in which the groups are displayed (based on the earliest tie date within the cluster). I have tried changing group numbers and resorting the groups, but that did not work. Is there a way to do this or do I have to live with the density-based ordering provided?

Thank you for the interest in NodeXL!

There are several ways to layout groups in NodeXL.

See the NodeXL>Graph Pane>Layout Menu>Layour Options menu:

In that dialog there are choices of layouts for groups:

You may want to experiment with these options.

NodeXL does not (yet) have a group layout that allows the user to select the order of their presentation.

Currently, in the Group-in-a-box layout, groups are ordered by the count of vertices located with them.

Thanks for the response, Marc. I want to be able to visualize a diffusion pattern across groups. Being able to order the groups by event time (rather than vertex count) would have been sweet. But I can settle for just displaying the date and letting the reader trace the diffusion themselves. Thanks for a great product!
