Thank you for the interest in NodeXL Pro!

Can you share the queries for Facebook and YouTube that are failing for you?

Facebook pages may have permissions that block NodeXL Pro's access to data.

YouTube queries have also been impacted by changes in the YouTube API.

I can test your queries to see if they are caused by a permissions issue versus an error in NodeXL Pro.

if those are closed group I don't think there is much we con do to help because we can not access those data. What I can suggest is to take a look at the date of the last post in the group and set the start date of the importer before that date.

Hello Yohanan,

I checked group with ID 604772032876642 and I was able to get data https://nodexlgraphgallery.org/Pages/Graph.aspx?graphID=55707. It seems that this group doesn't have much traffic so I had to collect 100 posts to get this network. If there are no users liking or commenting on posts, you should see only vertices (go to Vertices sheet).

The YouTube importer doesn't work because of API changes. We are dealing with it and should be fixed in the next release.

Thank you so much. It works for public group but i still have a problem (network is empty message) when i try to download a group where i am a member .
Do I need to modify my facebook parameters in order to make nodexl access the page?
I modified the import date,. tried to download 1-100 first posts but nothing works.

Any help ?

thank u

Hello Yohanan,

Facebook has changed its policies and every app should pass a review process about every access right they need. Unfortunately our app didn't get the closed group rights so we are unable to access that data. We plan to re-submit our app to get further rights. Please stay tuned as we will update.
