Error trying to reinstall NodeXL

Hello,

I was having problems loading NodeXL. I'm a basic user but at launch the program prompted me with a request for a license code for a Pro version that I've never had.

I decided to unistall and re-install, but something isn't working. I uninstalled through the control panel and it took two seconds. Now I don't have any NodeXL icons anywhere.

When trying to execute the installer, I get the following error. Any help??? Thank you!

Hello,

from October 12 NodeXL has 2 versions (http://nodexl.codeplex.com/discussions/646043):
  1. NodeXL Pro (https://www.nodexlgraphgallery.org/NodeXLSetup/NodeXLProExcelTemplate2014Setup.exe)
  2. NodeXL Basic (http://nodexl.codeplex.com/releases/view/117659)
To install NodeXL Pro/Basic follow these steps:
  1. Uninstall NodeXL from "Program and Features" in Control Panel (I suspect you already did this)
  2. Delete the folder as described here: https://nodexl.codeplex.com/discussions/646168. This article describes how to go back to Basic but it applies to Pro too.
  3. Download and install NodeXL Pro or Basic
  4. If you chose NodeXL Pro and purchased a license (http://nodexlgraphgallery.org/Pages/Registration.aspx), follow the instructions in the e-mail that was sent to you together with the license to install NodeXL Pro license.
Regards,
Arber
