NodeXL crashing with many vertices and edges

Hello everybody!
I'm using NodeXL to biological analysis. I've tried (I need, actually) to cluster a graph, by connected components, with about 8 thousand vertices and 56 thousand edges, but the application is crashing.
Something I can do about it?
Thanks!

Hello!

Thank you for the interest in NodeXL!

NodeXL can require a large amount of RAM depending on the number of edges in the network.

56,000 edges is doable in NodeXL but you may need to have 8 GB and possibly 16 GB of RAM. It might also take a long time (but not forever, we have several networks of that size that have been analyzed on a 16 GB system in a few hours).

How much RAM is available to your system?

Hello, Marc! Thanks for the answer!

Yeah, that's what I thought. The system I've used in this case has just 4GB of RAM.

Let me try this in another machine and I'll let you know if it works!
