Problems importing data --

Sep 14, 2015 at 3:44 PM
Hi,

I have been trying to import data for some Twitter hashtags. One example is #CommunityBroadband.

NodeXL starts to gather the data and puts some of the data into the spreadsheet, but then an error message pops up that says: "You have reached the limit of anonymous upload. Please create an account or try again later."

The thing is, I have registered/created an account. But when I open up NodeXL it does not provide me with a way to enter my registration information to identify myself.

I can see a couple of possibilities here:

1) There is a way to register the software that I haven't figured out yet.

2) This message is an error itself and I am actually getting all of the data I requested.

3) I am not getting all of the data I requested and you are in a transition with the software and have not yet set up the system to allow registration.

4) Something else??

I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks!

Hello!

Thank you for the interest in NodeXL!

Can you confirm the version of NodeXL you are running (see: NodeXL>Help>About).

The message suggests that the issue is related to uploading data to the NodeXL Graph Gallery.

You can modify the login credentials in the NodeXL>Export>To NodeXL Graph Gallery option.

Let me know if this addresses your issue!

Regards,

Marc
