We continue to add features and improve performance for NodeXL.
Today we release v.88 with the first new layout in some time: the Harel-Koren Fast Multilevel layout which can often generate significantly more readable graphs.
NodeXL v.88 also has a new export to EPS feature that should allow users to get their graphs into a vector format for publications and other printing applications.
We plan a series of updates to NodeXL in the coming 12 months that focus on Scale, Clarity, and Connection: improving the size and speed of networks NodeXL can handle, better layouts and interactions with the graph, and more connections to pull networks
out of leading social media sites on the Internet.
We welcome your feedback and suggestions!
A tutorial workshop will be run at the Communities and Technologies Conference in Penn State on June 24th.
A similar tutorial will be run at the Stanford Media-X program in Stanford, California this August 5/6.
Additional tutorials can be offered based on demand. A potential tutorial in the Washington D.C. area is being planned for late summer/early fall. Please let us know if you would like to attend that session or want to propose another location
and time. If there are enough people to justify a workshop we may be able to arrange additional sessions.
