Hello!

Thank you for the interest in NodeXL!

In a network people can be connected in a mutual (undirected or symmetric) or targeted (directed or asymmetric) form.

NodeXL can calculate Graph Metrics including degree (for undirected networks) and in-degree and out-degree (for directed networks).

Sorting the vertices in the network (which are listed on the Vertices worksheet in NodeXL) by any of the calculated graph metrics will bring different kinds of people to the top of the list.

Sorting by degree, in-degree or out-degree will bring the most connected people to the top of the Vertices list.

Regards,
Marc
