Hi, I downloaded the Class libraries and was wondering a rookie programming question:

Is it possible to use the NodeXL class libraries to connect to the twitter API, obtain metics(just like the NodeXL template does)?
(I dont have extensive coding experience but I am not a total beginner).

Basically I am not looking to use Excel or the NodeXL Template. Appreciate anyone that reads/replies to this,
Matt

EDIT: I meant Class Libraries, not Source code.

Hello,

the Twitter graph data provider is not shipped with class libraries, but you can build your own (as an example you can see SampleGraphDataProvider.cs file in the class libraries). If you want to check the code NodeXL uses to connect and get data from Twitter you can download NodeXL source code from the Source Code tab in Codeplex. Note that you must create an app on Twitter and use the client keys provided by Twitter to authorize your code to get the data. The keys that are on NodeXL source code are not real.

Hello Arber,

Fantastic, I shall have a look at that provider for an example on building my own.

Thanks,
Matt
