I previously used to run queries to pull the twitter chatter within specified dates using "since" and "until" options.
However, last couple of days whatever dates I give in, the data is extracted only for the last 24 hours or so!!
For example "#fracking since:2014-07-01 until:2014-07-03" should give me the chatter between those dates. But NodeXL is pulling data from 9th July!!
I ran the same query in twitter and it displays data correctly. I tried in various machines using different twitter accounts and the problem persists.
So, what is happening? please do let me know the solution.

NodeXL can give you only what Twitter gives to NodeXL, so it's Twitter that is limiting the results you're getting.
If you click the first "More about this option" help link in the Import from Twitter Search Network dialog box (assuming that you are using a recent version of NodeXL), the help text includes the following warnings:
Here are a few important limitations you should be aware of:
- The search results provided by Twitter are often incomplete--you will most likely NOT get all recent tweets that match your search query. The way Twitter puts it is that the results are "focused on relevance and not completeness."
- Twitter will not provide NodeXL with tweets older than about a week. It is NOT possible to use NodeXL to get tweets older than that.
- The algorithm that Twitter uses to match tweets with a search query is undocumented. It is NOT, however, the same algorithm that Twitter uses on its own search page, so you may get results from NodeXL that differ from what you get directly from Twitter
using the same search query.
