We've changed the way that NodeXL version numbers and updates work, and the old "Check for Updates" feature is no longer functional.

You can update NodeXL to the latest version by going to this page:

http://nodexl.codeplex.com/releases

The latest version automatically updates itself, so you will no longer have to manually check for and install newer versions.

Please note that you must install your old version before installing the latest version. This is a one-time requirement.

Vaios:

Based on the error message you posted, I see that you have an older version of NodeXL installed on your computer. So if you want to replace your older version with the latest version, you have to do this:
  1. Uninstall the older version. Instructions for doing so can be found at http://nodexl.codeplex.com/discussions/522821 .
  2. Install the latest version, which can be found at http://nodexl.codeplex.com/releases .
If you don't want to bother with this, you don't have to. Your older version will continue to work.

Thank you Tony,

I replied to your first response because I was confused when you wrote "Please note that you must install your old version before installing the latest version. This is a one-time requirement." and at the update page was mention to uninstall before the new installation. So I was a bit confused.

Thank you again
