Using location data to set node display

Feb 24, 2014 at 1:10 PM

I have some data about flows of people between different locations. My data has the location (x and y co-ordinates) of the origin and destination and I was wondering if it was possible to get nodeXL to set the locations of the nodes in the final graph to these XL co-ordinates? The lines joining them and node colours would then indicator network affects between these locations.

Many thanks for any help.

Thank you for the interest in NodeXL.

NodeXL has several ways to position a vertex. One is to manually set the X and Y values.

If you have values that can be used to set X and Y coordinates, set them using
 NodeXL > Visual Properties> AutoFill Columns > Vertices > Vertex X (and Vertex Y).
