Vertex labels in subgraph images

Is there a way to output subgraph images with vertex labels?

Not with the Subgraph Images feature, which is meant to provide only a simple, schematic representation of each subgraph. You can, however, export one subgraph to another workbook, complete with vertex labels and all other attributes. To find out how, go to NodeXL, Help, Help in the Excel ribbon and see the "Exporting Graph Data to Another Workbook" topic.

Thank you. This works but outputs an egocentric network, not 1.5. Is there a setting somewhere, or an easy way to get to 1.5?

Yes. Try this:
  1. Select a vertex.
  2. Right click the graph pane and select "Select Subgraphs" from the right-click menu.
  3. In the Select Subgraphs dialog box, set "Levels of adjacent vertices to include in each subgraph" to 1.5, click the "Select" button, and click the "Close" button.
  4. In the Excel ribbon, select NodeXL, Data, Export, Selection to New NodeXL Workbook.
