If you try to import a Twitter network using an older version of NodeXL, you will get an error message from Twitter that says "forbidden." You will get this message regardless of who you are or what you ask for.

To fix this problem, please install the latest version of NodeXL, which you can find here:

Notes:
  1. The problem started on January 14, 2014.
  2. The problem affects NodeXL versions 1.0.1.150 and earlier. You can tell which version of NodeXL you have by going to NodeXL, Help, About in the Excel ribbon.
  3. The complete error message is "The network couldn't be obtained. Details: The Twitter Web service refused to provide the requested information. The stated reason was "forbidden."".

Hate to be a bother, but this problem persists on a fresh install of NodeXL 1.0.1.245 (installed this evening).
Scratch that, I hadn't removed the old template properly. Works a charm in .251.

Please update to version. 251 or better to restore Twitter import functionality.
