Larger drawing area?

Is it possible for the user to enlarge the area in which a network is drawn?  The canvas shown during the online tutorial seemed twice as wide.  Also, is it possible to change the color of the background?

Yes and yes.

You can drag the vertical border between the worksheet and the graph pane to enlarge the graph pane.  If that isn't large enough, hold the mouse down on the "Document Actions" window title in the graph pane and drag the pane out of Excel.  (Excel doesn't allow programmers to change that window title, unfortunately.  Read it as "Graph Pane.")  Once the pane is free, you can enlarge it to fill your entire screen if you'd like.

To change the background color, as well as a bunch of other options, click the Options button at the top of the graph pane.  The background color is in the lower-left area of the Options dialog box.
