Export to Pajek keeping time stamps

Hello NodeXL users,

I've just started with NodeXL, so my question might be too basic.

I'm working with longitudinal network data - i.e., with time stamps. When I export the file to a Pajek file I loose the time stamps. Does anyone know how to export the data onto a pajek file keeping the time stamps?!

Thanks for your assistance!

Nuno:

NodeXL does not export any edge attributes to the Pajek file, so you will lose your timestamps by exporting to Pajek.  (When I read the Pajek documentation at http://vlado.fmf.uni-lj.si/pub/networks/pajek/doc/PajekMan.pdf, it looks like the Pajek file format doesn't support timestamps anyway.)

If instead you export to a GraphML file using NodeXL, Data, Export, To GraphML, then all the edge and vertex attributes, including your timestamps, will get exported.  If the program you are exporting to will import GraphML, then GraphML is a better solution.
