Hover over panes

Is there a way to get the hover over tool tips to go away? They are really annoying as they tend to persist even when you are no longer hovering over something. Thanks - sorry to post such basic questions.

I assume you mean the comments that appear when you hover over the column headers.  You can delete the comments by selecting row 2, then clicking Review, Comments, Delete in the Excel ribbon.  You will have to do this on both the Edges and Vertices worksheets.  To avoid having to do this on every new workbook, run this procedure on the NodeXL template file, not a workbook created from the template.  (The template file is named NodeXLGraph.xltx and can be found in your Templates folder.  If you need help finding your Templates folder, tell me which version of Windows you are using.)  Note, however, that if you upgrade to a newer version of NodeXL you will have to edit the template file again, because the template file gets replaced with each version of NodeXL.
