Hi, I have a bunch of vertices that I would like to display in a circular graph, but I would the vertices to be grouped (by cluster?) - is this possible?

With the Circle layout (NodeXL, Graph, Layout), you can control the order of the vertices in the circle, and that will give you the groups you want.

In the Excel ribbon, select NodeXL, Workbook Columns, Layout.  This will expose a numerical Layout Order column on the Vertices worksheet.  NodeXL will lay out the vertices in the order specified in this column.  If a set of vertices all have the same Layout Order value, they will all be contiguous on the circle.

How you fill in the Layout Order column is up to you.  You can fill it in manually, use Excel formulas, or tell NodeXL to fill it in based on the values in another numerical column.  The last feature can be found at NodeXL, Visual Properties, Autofill Columns.
